The not so secret ingredient of the evening is coconut, and each chef will prepare an appetizer, main course, and dessert that incorporates some form of this ingredient. Chef Wilma fulfills her passion for food as the owner of Citizen Cook, which offers personal chef and catering services in the DMV. She believes in sourcing from local, organic, seasonal and sustainable products and practices. NPR launched its Hot Pot video series in June with her cooking memories and her vision to serve healthy and gourmet Filipino food. When not cooking, she produces for NPR and works as a fitness instructor.
